Kai McAlpin was a hometown hero to all that met him. His tribe and community rallied around him and his family with love and support.

Kai’s family and community continues to fight for families who have been faced with childhood cancer and are facing the hardships and grief of living through the loss of their child. Kai is still very much alive in our hearts and minds as we fight in his memory.

SweetWater Foundation was founded to honor him and families like the McAlpin family, assisting with the hardship that childhood cancer causes on a family.
